About Us

Moodmail began in 2020 when our founder, a non-profit professional with a passion for stationery, recognized the gap between representation, chicness, and traditional greeting cards.

What started as a small collection of handmade cards for friends made in her Brooklyn apartment quickly evolved into a distinctive brand that bridges these two worlds.

Each product is thoughtfully designed while delivering the warmth and personal touch that make our products so special. Our growing team of designers continues to push boundaries, creating pieces that are more than just cards—they're keepsakes and vehicles for genuine connection.

Note from The Founder:

Hi Everyone!

My name is Mia Littlejohn and I am the founder of Moodmail.

I created Moodmail as a way to make others feel seen and heard. As a nonprofit professional, I have worked with various groups that were not represented in the antiquated greeting card landscape - instead of waiting for the change, I decided to be the change that I wanted to see.

During the first iteration of Moodmail, we focused on greeting cards only but in this new era of Moodmail, we are expanding our paper products - notepads, postcards, box sets - and so much more.

Thank you for taking the time and interest in our black-owned, woman-owned, small business.

We hope you find mail for all of your moods.

  • Our founder, Mia took a minute to speak about her experience with the Philadelphia 76ers and LegalZoom.

These cards were directions for the meal kit that was donated and stuffed by The Foundress and volunteers.

  • All pieces created for this initiative was 100% funded by Moodmail as a way to give back.

As a company, we always want to support all communities in need as much as possible.
